I’ve got a flappy door on the back door! I think the Cats might grumble if I ran a railway through it though!

Great Vid as usual I have the Bachmann prototype Deltic and I”ll get Howes to fit it with sound when a sound decoder becomes available from them. I’m having trouble with Hornby steam locos fitted with Howes sound. There’s sound but no movement on my Q1, Grange, Princess, and 8F. Bachmann locos don’t seem to have this trouble.

It Would Be Awesome If You Had A Station Indoors And Then There Was One Of Those Flappy Doors That Open When Pushed. You Cpuld Pull The MOut Of The Station And Then Onto The Layout

Hi Yes I do remember that and I’m glad you found a solution. Although I would have thought you need a pretty powerful transformer (in terms of amps rather than volts) to power such bulbs.

Another nice video. You may remember I was looking for suggestions on lighting for my 00 gauge garden railway? And you sent me some suggestions? Well we finally found some bulbs which, following testing, prove to work fine in our buildings. At last! They are, unusually, 12V Festoon Bulbs, the same type used in courtesy lights in cars! Cheers

No It’s “modern stuff”. Peco streamline nickel silver track with mainly concrete style sleepers.

It’s certainly a lovely looking loco and captures the image of how I remember them at Kings Cross in my youth. I bought this one with the sound decoder removed but from what I have heard the sound is not all that good.

Awesome Jules. I Brought the deltic with sound its very good.
I think they have improved the front ends on them. I Have a couple of older bachmann deltics, the sound is very good on it. What do you think?

really nice loco the deltic.
Oliver cromwell came through Ashford Kent on the 23 July pulling the Cathedrals express, the train was held at a red signal in Ashford station so we got some good photographs.
The train returned through Ashford later in the evening.
Great video again much enjoyed.
