If you find a web comparison sight (search in a Yahoo bar) such as kelkoo. Tell it what you want and which country and it should do all the hard work for you. It, obviously will only search internet sites. Alternatively, check the Yellow Pages. Some model shops will try and give you a better price than an internet shop, just to get your business.

if you’re prepared to do a bit of walking, car boot sales often have hornby trains. good luck.

Ask if you have any swap meets round by you, they sometimes sell things at trade prices, or certainly cheaper than shop. Though of course usual suspects are eBay & car boot sales too. Wish I’d known just got rid of turntable too. Oh well.
