I personally loved High Fidelity because it relates music to relationships and I’m a big music fan.
As a Nick Hornby fan, I’ve enjoyed a couple books by Jonathan Tropper, who also has a wonderfully humorous style. Try reading “Everything Changes,” and “The Book of Joe.”
